Aurva Episode: Restoration of Sight and Restraint of World-Destructive Anger

आमन्त्य ब्राह्मा्ं पूर्वमभिवाद्यानुमान्य च । समैरुदड्मुखैर्मार्गर्यथोद्दिष्टं परंतपा:,परंतप! कुन्तीकुमारोंने पहले ही अपने आश्रयदाता ब्राह्मणसे पूछकर जानेकी आज्ञा ले ली थी और चलते समय बड़े आदरके साथ उन्हें प्रणाम किया। वे सब लोग उत्तर दिशाकी ओर जानेवाले सीधे मार्गोॉद्वारा उत्तराभिमुख हो अपने अभीष्ट स्थान पंचालदेशकी ओर बढ़ने लगे

āmantya brāhmān pūrvam abhivādyānumānya ca | samair udanmukhair mārgair yathoddiṣṭaṃ paraṃtapāḥ ||

Disse Vaiśampāyana: Tendo primeiro se despedido dos brāhmaṇas—saudando-os com reverência e recebendo sua aprovação—os filhos de Kuntī partiram. Mantendo-se nas estradas retas voltadas para o norte, como lhes fora indicado, aqueles que abrasavam os inimigos avançaram rumo ao destino desejado: a terra de Pañcāla.
