कश्यपो धर्मपत्नीभ्यां मुदा परमया युत: । वरातिसर्ग श्रुत्वैवं कश्यपादुत्तमं च ते

Transliteration

śaunaka uvāca

kaśyapo dharmapatnībhyāṃ mudā paramayā yutaḥ |

varātisargaṃ śrutvaivaṃ kaśyapād uttamaṃ ca te ||

Translation

Śaunaka disse: “Kaśyapa, tomado de suprema alegria junto de suas esposas justas, ouviu assim acerca da concessão dos dons e da criação que se seguiu. E vós também ouvistes de Kaśyapa o que é excelente e preeminente.”
