Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tena vikramamāṇena ūruvegasaṃīritam | vanaṃ savṛkṣaviṭapaṃ vyāghūrṇitam ivābhavat ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: Ó rei Janamejaya, quando Bhīmasena avançou a passos largos, a floresta—agitada pelo ímpeto tremendo de sua velocidade—pareceu rodopiar, com suas árvores e ramos entrelaçados.
