एकचक्रानिवासे ब्राह्मणगृहदुःखश्रवणम् | Hearing the Brāhmaṇa Household’s Distress at Ekacakrā
स तस्मिन् पुरुषव्याप्रे देवभावं गते सति । राजपुत्रानिमान् बालान् धृतराष्ट्रो न मृष्यते,“नरश्रेष्ठ पाण्डु जब देवभाव ([स्वर्ग)-को प्राप्त हो गये हैं, तब उनके इन छोटे-छोटे राजकुमारोंका भार धृतराष्ट्र नहीं सहन कर पा रहे हैं
sa tasmin puruṣavyāpre devabhāvaṃ gate sati | rājaputrān imān bālān dhṛtarāṣṭro na mṛṣyate ||
Disse Vaiśampāyana: “Quando aquele varão excelso partiu para o estado dos deuses (o céu), Dhṛtarāṣṭra não conseguiu suportar o encargo destes jovens príncipes.”
