Vāraṇāvata-prasaṃsā and the Pāṇḍavas’ Departure (वरणावत-प्रशंसा तथा पाण्डव-प्रयाणम्)

कुमारा ऊचु: अभिवादयामहे ब्रह्मन्‌ नैतदन्येषु विद्यते । को5सि कस्यासि जानीमो वयं कि करवामहे,कुमार बोले--ब्रह्मन! हम आपको प्रणाम करते हैं। यह अस्त्र-कौशल दूसरे किसीमें नहीं है। आप कौन हैं, किसके पुत्र हैं--यह हम जानना हैं। बताइये, हमलोग आपकी कया सेवा करें?

kumārā ūcuḥ | abhivādayāmahe brahman, na etad anyeṣu vidyate | ko 'si kasya 'si jānīmo vayaṃ; kiṃ karavāmahe ||

Os jovens disseram: “Venerável brâmane, nós nos curvamos diante de ti. Tal maestria nas armas não se encontra em mais ninguém. Quem és tu, e de quem és filho? Desejamos saber. Dize-nos: que serviço podemos prestar-te?”
