Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)
अम्बिके तव पौत्रस्य दुर्नयात् किल भारता: । सानुबन्धा विनडृशक्ष्यन्ति पौराश्चैवेति नः श्रुतम्,“अम्बिके! तुम्हारे पौत्रके अन्यायसे भरतवंशी वीर तथा इस नगरके लोग सगे- सम्बन्धियोंसहित नष्ट हो जायँगे--ऐसी बात मैंने सुनी है
ambike tava pautrasya durnayāt kila bhāratāḥ | sānubandhā vinaḍṛśakṣyanti paurāś caiveti naḥ śrutam ||
Vaiśampāyana disse: “Ó Ambikā, diz-se que, por causa da conduta injusta de teu neto, os Bhāratas serão arruinados—junto com seus parentes e dependentes—e também os cidadãos desta cidade. Isto é o que ouvi.”
