Transliteration

janamejayasya yāṁ rājño vaiśampāyana uttavān | yathāvat sa ṛṣis tuṣṭyā satre dvaighāyanājñayā

Translation

Na sessão sacrificial do rei Janamejaya, o rishi Vaiśampāyana recitou a narrativa na devida ordem, com satisfação, em obediência ao comando de Dvaighāyana (Vyāsa).
