युष्माभिर् वै कुमाराय तेन व्यासाय धीमते तस्मादहमुपश्रुत्य प्रवदामि सुविस्तरम्

Transliteration

yuṣmābhir vai kumārāya tena vyāsāya dhīmate tasmādahamupaśrutya pravadāmi suvistaram

Translation

Em verdade, vós o ensinastes a Kumāra, e por meio dele chegou ao sábio Vyāsa. Portanto, tendo-o ouvido nessa sucessão autêntica, agora o exponho a vós com plena extensão e detalhe.
