Adhyaya 84: शिवव्रतकथनम्
Uma–Maheshvara Vrata, Shula-dana, and Month-wise Ekabhakta Vrata
ब्राह्मणान् भोजयित्वा च पूर्वोक्तमखिलं भवेत् कृत्वा भाद्रपदे मासि शोभनं शालिपर्वतम्
brāhmaṇān bhojayitvā ca pūrvoktamakhilaṃ bhavet kṛtvā bhādrapade māsi śobhanaṃ śāliparvatam
E, após alimentar os brāhmaṇas, tudo o que foi anteriormente prescrito fica plenamente cumprido. Então, no mês de Bhādrapada, deve-se moldar como oferenda uma auspiciosa “montanha de arroz” (Śāli-parvata): uma dádiva conforme ao dharma que sustenta a Śiva-pūjā e afrouxa o pāśa (laço) do paśu (alma encarnada).

It links Śiva-pūjā with dharmic completion through dāna—feeding Brāhmaṇas and offering a Śāli-parvata are presented as acts that perfect the previously prescribed worship and merit.
Śiva-tattva is implied as Pati, the Lord who is approached not only by mantra and arcana but also by sattvic charity; such giving helps the pashu move toward freedom from pasha under Śiva’s grace.
A dāna-centered pūjā-vidhi: feeding Brāhmaṇas and preparing the Śāli-parvata offering in Bhādrapada—an external dharmic support to inner Shaiva discipline (Pāśupata-oriented purification).
