Suta Goswami (narrating the Linga Purana to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It expands Linga-centered worship beyond temple ritual into continuous offering (nitya-upacāra): even celestial beings honor Pati (Śiva) through dedicated acts like Tāṇḍava, showing that sincere bhāva is itself a form of pūjā.
Śiva is presented as the supreme recipient of devotion across all realms—Pati who draws the hearts of beings everywhere—implying His all-pervasiveness and lordship over the worlds, where worship naturally flows toward Him.
Nitya-upāsanā (constant worship) expressed as sacred performance: the disciplined offering of body, rhythm, and mind to Śiva—aligned with a Pāśupata spirit of turning action into devotion and loosening pāśa (bondage) through sustained bhāva.
