रत्नभूतो ऽथ रत्नाङ्गो महार्णवनिपातवित् मूलं विशालो ह्यमृतं व्यक्ताव्यक्तस्तपोनिधिः
ratnabhūto 'tha ratnāṅgo mahārṇavanipātavit mūlaṃ viśālo hyamṛtaṃ vyaktāvyaktastaponidhiḥ
Ele é a própria essência das joias, e seus membros resplandecem como gemas; o Conhecedor da descida ao grande oceano cósmico. Ele é a Causa-raiz, o Vasto; é o Amṛta, o néctar imortal. É ao mesmo tempo manifesto e não manifesto; o tesouro do tapas (austeridade sagrada): tal é esse Pati, o Senhor Śiva.
