दृश्यन्ते दिवि ताः सर्वाः विश्वं चेदं पुनर्जगत् न क्षीयन्ते यतस्तानि तस्मान्नक्षत्रता स्मृता

Transliteration

dṛśyante divi tāḥ sarvāḥ viśvaṃ cedaṃ punarjagat na kṣīyante yatastāni tasmānnakṣatratā smṛtā

Translation

Todas essas luminárias são vistas no céu, e este universo inteiro torna a aparecer como um mundo em movimento. Como elas não se consomem, por isso são lembradas como “nakṣatras” — as estrelas imperecíveis.
