Por medo do saṃsāra, a pessoa começa—passo a passo—pela menor renúncia aos objetos dos sentidos. Desse vairāgya nasce no homem um desapego mais profundo e uma mudança transformadora de visão para outro modo de ver.
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It frames Linga-upasana as an inner discipline: even a small, gradual renunciation of sense-objects purifies the paśu, loosens pāśa (bondage), and matures devotion into steadier Shiva-centered vision.
By implying a shift to “another vision” (darśanāntara), it points to Shiva-tattva as the higher standpoint beyond saṃsāric fear—where the soul’s perception turns from objects to the Pati, the liberating Lord.
Pāśupata-oriented sādhana of vairāgya: gradual withdrawal from viṣayas (sense-objects), cultivating virāga and a transformed darśana that supports meditation and inner Linga worship.
