ज्योतिषां गतियोगेन सूर्यस्य तमसा वृतः समानकालास्तमयौ विषुवत्सु समोदयौ

Transliteration

jyotiṣāṃ gatiyogena sūryasya tamasā vṛtaḥ samānakālāstamayau viṣuvatsu samodayau

Translation

Pela harmonia dos cursos dos luminares, o Sol fica velado pela escuridão; e, nos equinócios (viṣuvat), seu pôr e seu nascer ocorrem em medida igual e em tempos iguais—mostrando o governo ordenado do Senhor sobre o tempo, pela lei cósmica que prende o paśu em ciclos mensurados.
