Declararam que a medida fundamental (da base) deve ser tomada como a largura a partir do sopé da montanha; e afirmaram ainda que a largura desta estrutura deve ser o dobro dessa medida tomada na base. FAQs

It fixes sacred proportions (pramāṇa) for the base and width, implying that Śiva’s worship is not arbitrary but grounded in measured order that stabilizes the shrine and the sādhaka’s ritual focus.

By emphasizing exact proportion and stability, it reflects Śiva as Pati—the cosmic regulator whose presence is approached through dhārmic order, where form (liṅga/ādhāra) supports the formless reality.

Pūjā-vidhi through pramāṇa: correct measurement and proportion for installation, a practical niyama that purifies worship and supports meditative steadiness aligned with Pāśupata discipline.
