Então Dadhīci, tomando um punhado de erva kuśa e recordando Bhava (Śiva), o sábio que tudo domina, concedeu a todos os deuses seus ossos, firmes como o vajra, para que se tornassem o raio e vencessem os inimigos.
Suta Goswami (narrating the Purana; internal episode about Dadhichi and the Devas)
It shows that remembrance of Bhava (Śiva)—the Pati—sanctifies action; even a worldly act (aiding the Devas) becomes empowered through Śiva-smarana, aligning with Linga-centered devotion where inner recollection is primary.
Śiva is invoked as Bhava, the sovereign controller (vaśī), implying Pati-tattva: the Lord who governs and grants effective power when remembered, loosening pāśa (bondage) and enabling dharmic victory.
Śiva-smarana (devotional recollection/meditative remembrance) paired with kuśa (ritual purity) is highlighted—an applied bhakti-yoga tone consistent with Pāśupata orientation where inner focus empowers outer rite.
