Vīrya, Māyā/Prakṛti, Śrī’s Inseparability, Paramāṇu, and Hari’s Infinitude

Lord Vishnu

Concept: If endowed with a portion of the Supreme (aṃśa-yukta), there is no absolute final separation (carama-viśeṣa) in truth—difference is not ultimate.

Vedantic Theme: Bhedābheda/abheda orientation: distinctions are empirical; ultimate reality is non-separate from its manifestations; dependence of parts on the Whole.

Application: Reduce divisive thinking: see shared ground beneath differences; in study, distinguish empirical classifications from ultimate unity; in life, practice inclusivity grounded in metaphysical kinship.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Secondary Rasa: adbhuta

FAQs

This verse emphasizes that the individual soul, being connected to the Supreme as an aṁśa, is not ultimately cut off by a final, absolute difference—supporting a liberation-oriented view of spiritual identity.

By stating there is no ultimate separation for the aṁśa-yukta jiva, the verse points beyond temporary states and distinctions toward the soul’s final truth—union/identity with the Supreme as the culmination of spiritual progress.

Live with the conviction that spiritual identity is deeper than changing circumstances: practice devotion, self-discipline, and ethical conduct (dharma) as expressions of one’s connection to the Supreme.
