evaṃ ca vṛścikādau syātpūrvadakṣiṇapaścimam / dvāraṃ dīrghārdhavistāraṃ dvārāṇyaṣṭau smṛtāni ca

Translation

Do mesmo modo, começando por Escorpião, a sequência toma-se como leste, sul e oeste. A porta deve ter um comprimento igual à metade da sua largura; e oito tais portas são lembradas na tradição.
