Hayagrīva Pūjāvidhi: Root Mantra, Nyāsa, Maṇḍala-Devatā Worship, and Stotra

वैराग्यमथ चैश्वर्यमाग्नेयादिषु पूजयेत् / अधर्माज्ञानावैराग्यानैश्रर्ग्यादींस्तु पूर्वतः

vairāgyamatha caiśvaryamāgneyādiṣu pūjayet / adharmājñānāvairāgyānaiśrargyādīṃstu pūrvataḥ

Depois, deve-se adorar Vairāgya (desapego) e Aiśvarya (senhorio, poder) nas direções presididas por Agni e pelos demais deuses; porém, antes, devem ser apaziguados os seus opostos—adharma, ignorância, ausência de desapego e afins—postos na posição anterior.
