FAQs

This verse treats proper digestion as the basis of health: eating only after digestion reduces bloating and supports overall well-being.

It states that eating at the wrong time aggravates vāta, which then manifests as conditions like heart disease, gulma (abdominal masses), piles, spleen disorders, and pallor.

Allow the previous meal to digest before eating again; this supports digestive comfort and helps prevent vāta-type complaints such as gas, distension, and related weakness.
