सुरुचिस्तं समुत्थाप्य पादावनतमर्भकम् । परिष्वज्याह जीवेति बाष्पगद्गदया गिरा ॥ ४६ ॥
surucis taṁ samutthāpya pādāvanatam arbhakam pariṣvajyāha jīveti bāṣpa-gadgadayā girā
Suruci, a mãe mais jovem de Dhruva Mahārāja, vendo o menino inocente prostrar-se a seus pés, ergueu-o imediatamente, abraçou-o com as mãos e, com a voz embargada por lágrimas de emoção, abençoou-o: “Meu filho, vive por muitos anos!”
