King Vena’s Tyranny, the Sages’ Counsel, and the Birth of Niṣāda

इत्थं व्यवसिता हन्तुमृषयो रूढमन्यव: । निजघ्नुर्हुङ्कृतैर्वेनं हतमच्युतनिन्दया ॥ ३४ ॥

itthaṁ vyavasitā hantum ṛṣayo rūḍha-manyavaḥ nijaghnur huṅkṛtair venaṁ hatam acyuta-nindayā

Assim, os grandes sábios, manifestando sua ira oculta, decidiram de imediato matar o rei. Por ter blasfemado contra Acyuta, Vena já era como morto; por isso, sem armas, os sábios o mataram apenas com palavras retumbantes.
