तान् राजा स्वविषये मन्त्रिपुरोहितसेनापतियुवराजदौवारिकान्तर्वंशिकप्रशास्तृसमाहर्तृसम्निधातृप्रदेष्टृनायकपौरव्यावहारिककार्मान्तिकमन्त्रिपरिषदध्यक्षदण्डदुर्गान्तपालाटविकेषु श्रद्धेयदेशवेषशिल्पभाषाभिजनापदेशान्भक्तितः सामर्थ्ययोगाच्चापसर्पयेत् ॥ कZ_०१.१२.०६ ॥

Transliteration

tān rājā svaviṣaye mantripurohitasenāpatiyuvarājadauvārikāntarvaṃśikapraśāstṛsamāhartṛsamnidhātṛpradeṣṭṛnāyakapauravyāvahārikakārmāntikamantripariṣadadhyakṣadaṇḍadurgāntapālāṭavikeṣu śraddheya-deśa-veṣa-śilpa-bhāṣā-abhijanāpadeśān bhaktitaḥ sāmarthya-yogāc cāpasarpayet

Translation

No seu próprio reino, o rei deve colocar furtivamente tais agentes—críveis quanto à região, ao traje, ao ofício, à língua e à linhagem que alegam—entre o ministro, o capelão (purohita), o comandante, o príncipe herdeiro, o porteiro, os oficiais do interior do palácio, os governadores/administradores provinciais, os cobradores de receitas, os tesoureiros, os superintendentes, os líderes, os oficiais da cidade, os oficiais judiciais, os estabelecimentos de artesãos, o presidente do conselho, as autoridades penais/policiais, os guardiões de fortalezas e fronteiras e os chefes das florestas, designando-os com base na lealdade e na adequação da capacidade.
