Sutra 8

अनभियुक्तस्तु लघुव्यसनः सुखेन व्यसनं प्रतिकृत्यामित्रो यातव्यमभिसरेत्पार्ष्णिं वा गृह्णीयात् ॥ कZ_०७.५.०८ ॥

anabhiyuktas tu laghuvyasanaḥ sukhena vyasanaṃ pratikṛtyāmitro yātavyam abhisaret pārṣṇiṃ vā gṛhṇīyāt

Mas, se o inimigo, estando em dificuldade menor, não for atacado, ele pode remediá-la facilmente e então avançar contra o yātavya — ou agarrar-te pelo calcanhar (atacar pela retaguarda).
