सप्तरात्रस्यान्तर्मृते शुद्धवधः पक्षस्यान्तरुत्तमः मासस्यान्तः पञ्चशतः समुत्थानव्ययश्च ॥ कZ_०४.११.०२ ॥

Transliteration

saptarātrasyāntarmṛte śuddhavadhaḥ pakṣasyāntaruttamaḥ māsasyāntaḥ pañcaśataḥ samutthānavyayaś ca

Translation

Se a morte ocorrer dentro de sete noites (após a lesão), é tratada como homicídio evidente (punível com a morte). Se a morte ocorrer dentro de uma quinzena, aplica-se a multa mais alta. Se a morte ocorrer dentro de um mês, aplica-se uma multa de quinhentos, e também é devida compensação pelo tratamento médico e despesas relacionadas.
