अधमोत्तमौ न तेष्व् आस्तां न वध्यवधकौ द्विज नेर्ष्यासूया भयं रोषो दोषो लोभादिको न च

Transliteration

adhamottamau na teṣv āstāṃ na vadhyavadhakau dvija nerṣyāsūyā bhayaṃ roṣo doṣo lobhādiko na ca

Translation

ਹੇ ਦ੍ਵਿਜ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਨੀਚ’ ਤੇ ‘ਉੱਚ’ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ ਨਹੀਂ; ਨਾ ਉੱਥੇ ਵਧ੍ਯ ਹਨ ਨਾ ਵਧਕ। ਨਾ ਈਰਖਾ-ਅਸੂਯਾ ਉਠਦੀ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਭੈ ਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ; ਅਤੇ ਲੋਭ ਆਦਿ ਕੋਈ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
