FAQs

Time (kāla) is sacralized: aligning one’s conduct with auspicious seasons and prescribed observances cultivates purity, gratitude, and steady devotion.

This is primarily dharma/ācāra material (vrata-kalpa) transmitted through the Purāṇic dialogue. It supports lived religion rather than cosmogenesis or dynastic genealogy.

Fragrant flower-water signifies inner and outer cleansing; mango blossoms (spring fertility/renewal motifs) offered to Śiva connect cosmic regeneration with devotional offering, marking Vaiśākha as a season of auspicious renewal.
