Narrator (contextual Purāṇic narrator)
Tirtha: Puṣkara episode (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A husband returns to an empty dwelling—silent courtyard, cold hearth, unattended ritual space—his posture showing shock and worry.
Purāṇic tīrtha narratives often warn that negligence or misplaced trust during religious journeys can invite disorder at home.
The larger episode continues to revolve around the Puṣkara-traya pilgrimage in Kārttika.
No new rite is prescribed here; it advances the story by noting the departure after making an arrangement (samaya).
