The Esoteric Teaching on Umā’s Kriyāyoga
नानामणिगणाकीर्णं पुष्पमालाविराजितम् । एवं रथं कल्पयित्वा तस्मिन्त्संस्थापयेच्छिवाम्
nānāmaṇigaṇākīrṇaṃ puṣpamālāvirājitam | evaṃ rathaṃ kalpayitvā tasmintsaṃsthāpayecchivām
ਅਨੇਕ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਮਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਗੁੱਛਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੜਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾਲਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੋਭਿਤ ਐਸਾ ਰਥ ਬਣਾਕੇ, ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਿਵਾ (ਉਮਾ ਦੇਵੀ) ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਸ਼ਠਿਤ ਕਰੇ।

It teaches that loving, orderly preparation (kalpanā) and reverent installation (saṃsthāpanā) of the Divine Mother is a valid bhakti-path: the devotee externalizes inner devotion by creating beauty and then offering the seat of honor to Śivā.
This is explicitly saguna-upāsanā: the Goddess is worshiped through a visible, installed presence. In Shaiva tradition, such worship complements Linga devotion—Śiva and Śivā are honored as inseparable, and ritual installation trains the mind toward steady contemplation of the Divine.
A practical takeaway is to prepare a sanctified seat/vehicle with purity and beauty, then perform saṃsthāpanā (installation) with mantra and offerings; mentally, one should ‘enthrone’ the Goddess in the heart with focused devotion and steadiness.
