मैत्रीप्रतिज्ञा-वैरकारणप्रश्नः
Friendship Vow and Inquiry into the Cause of Enmity
तस्यैकां पर्णबहुलां भङ्क्त्वा शाखां सुपुष्पिताम्।सालस्यास्तीर्य सुग्रीवो निषसाद सराघवः।।
tasyaitāṃ parṇa-bahulāṃ bhaṅktvā śākhāṃ supuṣpitām | sālasya āstīrya sugrīvo niṣasāda sa-rāghavaḥ ||
ਸ਼ਾਲ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਪੱਤਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ, ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਿੜੀ ਇੱਕ ਟਾਹਣੀ ਤੋੜ ਕੇ ਸੁਗ੍ਰੀਵ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਵਿਛਾ ਕੇ ਆਸਨ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਘਵ (ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮ) ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਬੈਠ ਗਿਆ।
