The Severing of Kabandha’s Arms and the Opening of Dialogue
अयमिक्ष्वाकुदायादो रामो नाम जनैश्श्रुतः।अस्यैवावरजं विद्दि भ्रातरं मां च लक्ष्मणम्।।।।
ayam ikṣvākudāyādo rāmo nāma janaiḥ śrutaḥ | asyaivāvarajaṃ viddhi bhrātaraṃ māṃ ca lakṣmaṇam || 3.70.13 ||
ਇਹ ਰਾਮ ਹੈ—ਇਕਸ਼ਵਾਕੁ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦਾ ਵਾਰਿਸ—ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਛੋਟਾ ਭਰਾ ਜਾਣੋ—ਮੈਂ ਲਕਸ਼ਮਣ ਹਾਂ।
