नष्टायामपि वैदेह्यां हृतायामपि चानघशोचितुं नार्हसे वीर यथान्यः प्राकृतस्तथा।।3.66.13।।

Transliteration

naṣṭāyām api vaidehyāṃ hṛtāyām api cānagha |

śocituṃ nārhase vīra yathānyaḥ prākṛtas tathā || 3.66.13 ||

Translation

ਹੇ ਅਨਘ ਵੀਰ! ਵੈਦੇਹੀ ਗੁੰਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਅਪਹ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਧਾਰਣ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਾਂਗ ਸ਼ੋਕ ਕਰਨ ਜੋਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ; ਤੇਰਾ ਧਰਮ ਧੀਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
