गोदावर्यास्समीपे च मैथिली तत्र रंस्यते।प्राज्यमूलफलश्चैव नानाद्विजगणायुतः।।।।विविक्तश्च महाबाहो पुण्योरम्यस्तथैव च।

Transliteration

godāvaryāḥ samīpe ca maithilī tatra raṃsyate | prājyamūlaphalaś caiva nānādvijagaṇāyutaḥ || viviktaś ca mahābāho puṇyo ramyas tathaiva ca ||

Translation

ਗੋਦਾਵਰੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਮੈਥਿਲੀ (ਵੈਦੇਹੀ) ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵਿਹਾਰੇਗੀ। ਉੱਥੇ ਮੂਲ-ਫਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਹਨ, ਨਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਝੁੰਡ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ; ਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਮਹਾਬਾਹੋ, ਉਹ ਸਥਾਨ ਇਕਾਂਤ, ਪੁੰਨਮਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਹੈ।
