Chapter 58: Arjuna’s Deployment of the Indra-Weapon
पार्थ च सुमहाबाहुर्महावेगैर्महारथ: । विव्याध निशितैर्बाणैर्मेघो वृष्टयेव पर्वतम्,जैसे मेघ पर्वतपर जलकी वर्षा करता है, उसी प्रकार महाबाहु महारथी द्रोण पृथापुत्र अर्जुनको अत्यन्त वेगशाली तीखे बाणोंद्वारा बींध रहे थे
pārthaṃ ca sumahābāhur mahāvegair mahārathaḥ | vivyādha niśitair bāṇair megho vṛṣṭyeva parvatam ||
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਮਹਾਬਾਹੁ ਮਹਾਰਥੀ ਨੇ ਪਾਰਥ (ਅਰਜੁਨ) ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੇਜ਼, ਨੁਕੀਲੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਉਂ ਵਿੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬੱਦਲ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੀਂਹ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
