ततः समस्तास्ते सर्वे तुरगानभ्यचोदयन् । दिव्यमस्त्रं विकुर्वाणात्त्रिगर्तान् प्रत्यमर्षणा:,ऐसा विचारकर वह कानतक खींचे हुए धनुषके द्वारा युद्धके लिये उद्यत दिखायी देने लगा। सुशर्मा बारंबार तीखे बाणोंकी झड़ी लगा रहा है, यह देख सम्पूर्ण मत्स्यदेशीय योद्धा त्रिग्तोके प्रति कुपित हो दिव्यास्त्र प्रकट करते हुए अपने रथोंके घोड़ोंको आगे बढ़ाने लगे
tataḥ samastās te sarve turagān abhyacodayan | divyam astraṃ vikurvāṇās trigartān pratyamarṣaṇāḥ ||
ਤਦ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੰਕਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਤ੍ਰਿਗਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਿੱਠਾਈ ਅਸਹਿਣ ਕਰਕੇ, ਉਹ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧੇ—ਤਿੱਖੇ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਵਰਖਾ ਨਾਲ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਣਭੂਮੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਿਤ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਬਲ ਦਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਤਤਪਰ।
