Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | virāṭaḥ prādiśad yāni teṣām akliṣṭakarmaṇām | tāny āmucya śarīreṣu daṃśitās te paraṃtapāḥ ||

Translation

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਫਿਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਵਿਰਾਟ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਵਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਅਕਲਿਸ਼ਟ-ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੀਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ, ਉਹ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਪਰੰਤਪ ਯੋਧੇ ਸਜਧਜ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਲਏ।
