virāṭasya priyo bhrātā śatānīko 'bhyahārayat |

Translation

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਵਿਰਾਟ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਯ ਭਰਾ ਸ਼ਤਾਨੀਕ ਨੇ ਕਵਚ ਮੰਗਵਾ ਕੇ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਕਵਚ ਚਮਕਦਾਰ, ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਯੋਗ ਸਨ; ਸ਼ਤਾਨੀਕ ਨੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਕਿਰਾਸ਼ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਹੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਜਾਲੀਆਂ ਜੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
