जूएकी आसस्तिने इन्हें राजलक्ष्मीके सिंहासनसे नीचे उतार दिया है और अब ये अपने उन कर्मोंका चिन्तन करते हुए अज्ञकी भाँति चुपचाप बैठे रहते हैं ।। दश नागसहस््राणि हयानां हेममालिनाम् । यं यान्तमनुयान्तीह सो<यं द्यूतेन जीवति
Transliteration
daśa nāgasahasrāṇi hayānāṃ hemamālinām | yaṃ yāntam anuyāntīha so 'yaṃ dyūtena jīvati ||
Translation
ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਇੱਥੇ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾਲਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਦਸ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਹਾਥੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚਲਦੇ ਸਨ—ਉਹੀ ਹੁਣ ਜੂਏ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਊਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
