सरस्वतीं समासाद्य तर्पयेत् पितृदेवता: । सारस्वतेषु लोकेषु मोदते नात्र संशय:
Sarasvatīṃ samāsādya tarpayet pitṛdevatāḥ | Sārasvateṣu lokeṣu modate nātra saṃśayaḥ ||
ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਰਸਵਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਪਣ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਤੀਰਥਯਾਤਰੀ ਸਾਰਸਵਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਨੰਦ ਪਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ—ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ।
