अग्निष्टोमातिरात्राभ्यां फलमाप्नोति मानव: | तत्र संध्यां समासाद्य विद्यातीर्थमनुत्तमम्‌

Transliteration

agniṣṭomātirātrābhyāṁ phalam āpnoti mānavaḥ | tatra sandhyāṁ samāsādya vidyātīrtham anuttamam ||

Translation

ਅਗਨਿਸ਼ਟੋਮ ਅਤੇ ਅਤਿਰਾਤ੍ਰ ਯੱਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉੱਥੇ ਸੰਧਿਆ-ਕਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਅਨੁੱਤਮ ‘ਵਿਦਿਆ-ਤੀਰਥ’ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
