युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
मनो: प्रजापतेलोंकानाप्रोति पुरुषर्षभ । कन्यायां ये प्रयच्छन्ति दानमण्वपि भारत
manoḥ prajāpate lokān āpnoti puruṣarṣabha | kanyāyāṁ ye prayacchanti dānam aṇv api bhārata ||
ਘੂਲਸਤ੍ਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—“ਹੇ ਪੁਰੁਸ਼ਰਿਸ਼ਭ! ਹੇ ਭਾਰਤ, ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਕੁੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਵੀ ਦਾਨ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਜਾਪਤੀ ਮਨੂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।”
