युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya

ततो गच्छेत ब्रह्मुर्षेगौतमस्य वन प्रियम्‌

tato gacchet brahmarṣe gautamasya vana-priyam | tat-paścāt brahmarṣi-gautamake priya-vanakī yātrā karet | tatra ahalyā-kuṇḍe snānena manuṣyaḥ paramagatiṃ prāpnoti | rājan! gautamasyāśrame gatvā manuṣyaḥ svārthe lakṣmīṃ prāpnoti |

ਫਿਰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਗੌਤਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਯ ਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉੱਥੇ ਅਹਲਿਆ-ਕੁੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮ ਗਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਗੌਤਮ ਦੇ ਆਸ਼੍ਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ-ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
