Pulastya’s Instruction
शालिहोगत्रस्य तीर्थे च शालिसूर्ये यथाविधि । स््नात्वा नरवरश्रेष्ठ गोसहस्रफलं लभेत्,नरश्रेष्ठ शालिहोत्रके शालिसूर्य नामक तीर्थमें विधिपूर्वक स्नान करके मनुष्य सहस्र गोदानका फल पाता है
śālihotrasya tīrthe ca śālisūrye yathāvidhi | snātvā naravaraśreṣṭha gosahasraphalaṁ labhet ||
ਘੂਲਸਤ੍ਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—“ਹੇ ਨਰਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ! ਸ਼ਾਲਿਹੋਤ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਤੀਰਥ—ਸ਼ਾਲਿਸੂਰਯ ਨਾਮਕ ਸਥਾਨ—ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਧੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਗੋ-ਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਪੁੰਨ-ਫਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।”
