न्यवेदयत्‌ तामस्वस्थां दमयन्तीं नरेश्वरे । तच्छुत्वा नृपतिर्भीमो दमयन्तीं सखीगणात्‌

Transliteration

nyavedayat tāmasvasthāṃ damayantīṃ nareśvare | tac chrutvā nṛpatir bhīmo damayantīṃ sakhīgaṇāt

Translation

ਬ੍ਰਿਹਦਸ਼ਵ ਨੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਦਮਯੰਤੀ ਘੋਰ ਵਿਸਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੁਸਥ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਭੀਮ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਖੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਦਮਯੰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭਣ ਲੱਗਾ।
