सन्नद्धा धन्विन: सर्वे प्राद्रवन्‌ नरपुड़रवा: । ब्राह्मणार्थे यतन्तस्ते शीघ्रमन्‍्वगमन्‌ मृगम्‌

Transliteration

sannaddhā dhanvinaḥ sarve prādravan narapuṅgavāḥ | brāhmaṇārthe yatantas te śīghram anvagaman mṛgam ||

Translation

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਹ ਸਭ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ, ਸਜਧਜ ਕੇ ਧਨੁਸ਼ਧਾਰੀ ਬਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੌੜ ਪਏ। ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਦੇ ਹਿਤ ਲਈ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਹਰਣ ਦਾ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
