युधिछिर उवाच त्वं भानो जगतत्नक्षुस्त्वमात्मा सर्वदेहिनाम् । त्वं योनि: सर्वभूतानां त्वमाचार: क्रियावताम्,युधिष्ठिर बोले--सूर्यदेव! आप सम्पूर्ण जगतके नेत्र तथा समस्त प्राणियोंके आत्मा हैं। आप ही सब जीवोंके उत्पत्तिस्थान और कर्मानुष्ठानमें लगे हुए पुरुषोंके सदाचार हैं
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: tvaṃ bhāno jagat-tanakṣuḥ tvam ātmā sarva-dehinām | tvaṃ yoniḥ sarva-bhūtānāṃ tvam ācāraḥ kriyāvatām ||
ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਭਾਨੋ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਹੋ; ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਦੇਹਧਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਾਤਮਾ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਭੂਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਯੋਨੀ (ਉਤਪੱਤੀ-ਸਥਾਨ) ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੀ ਆਚਾਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਪਦੰਡ ਹੋ।
