Sāvitrī’s Report and Nārada’s Prognosis (सावित्र्याख्यान—सत्यवान्-गुणवर्णनं तथा अल्पायुषः पूर्वसूचना)
अद्य पुष्यो निशि ब्रह्मन् पुण्यं योगमुपैष्यति । सम्भारा: सम्ध्रियन्तां मे रामश्नोपनिमन्त्रयताम्,राजन! तुम्हारा भला हो। महातेजस्वी तथा परम पराक्रमी राजा दशरथ श्रीरामचन्द्रजीके गुणोंका स्मरण करते हुए बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ पुरोहितसे बोले--“ब्रह्मन! आज पुष्य नक्षत्र है। रातमें इसे परम पवित्र योग प्राप्त होनेवाला है। आप राज्याभिषेककी सामग्री तैयार कीजिये और श्रीरामको भी इसकी सूचना दे दीजिये"
adya puṣyo niśi brahman puṇyaṁ yogam upaiṣyati | sambhārāḥ sandhriyantāṁ me rāmaś ca upanimantrayatām ||
ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ! ਅੱਜ ਪੁਸ਼੍ਯ ਨਕਸ਼ਤਰ ਹੈ; ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪਰਮ ਪੁੰਨ ਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਰਾਜਅਭਿਸ਼ੇਕ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵਿਧੀਪੂਰਵਕ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
