वनप्रस्थानम् (Departure for the Forest) — Āraṇyaka-parva, Adhyāya 24
अनुभावांश्व॒ जानासि ब्राह्मणानां न संशय: । प्रभावांश्वैव वेत्थ त्वं सर्वेषामेव पार्थिव,राजन! आप सभी ब्राह्मणोंके अनुभाव और प्रभावको जानते हैं, इसमें संशय नहीं है
anubhāvāṁś ca jānāsi brāhmaṇānāṁ na saṁśayaḥ | prabhāvāṁś caiva vettha tvaṁ sarveṣām eva pārthiva, rājan ||
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਭ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ—ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ। ਹੇ ਪਾਰਥਿਵ! ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਵੀ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹੋ।
