बीजानि हाग्निदग्धानि न रोहन्ति पुनर्यथा । ज्ञानदग्धैस्तथा क्लेशैरनत्मा संयुज्यते पुन:
bījāni hāgnidagdhāni na rohanti punar yathā | jñānadagdhais tathā kleśair anātmā saṁyujyate punaḥ ||
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੀਜ ਮੁੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਉੱਗਦੇ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਅਵਿਦਿਆ ਆਦਿ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਸੜ ਕੇ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਅਨਾਤਮਾ (ਮਨ-ਦੇਹ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ) ਦਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਫਿਰ ਸੰਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
