यजन्ते याजका: सम्यक्‌ परिवारं शुभार्थिन: । अन्रोपस्पृश्य सरसि श्रद्दधानो जितेन्द्रिय:

Transliteration

yajante yājakāḥ samyak parivāraṃ śubhārthinaḥ | anropaspṛśya sarasi śraddadhāno jitendriyaḥ ||

Translation

ਲੋਮਸ਼ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਸ਼ੁਭ ਫਲ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਜਕ ਪੂਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਸਮੇਤ ਵਿਧੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਯੱਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਸਰੋਵਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਧੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਜਲ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹ ਕੇ, ਸ਼ਰਧਾਵਾਨ ਤੇ ਜਿਤੇੰਦ੍ਰੀ ਪੁਰਖ ਉਸ ਕਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵਿਰਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
